Tickets for the 09 Realex Payments Web Awards – €35

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

Tickets should go on sale in the next few days. They’re €35 each. What does this get you? Entrance, a seat and food after the ceremony (it was pretty nice last year apparently) as well as the chance to dance to the Birdie Song on the dance floor until all hours. There is no sit-down meal, it is tux free and fun-packed. You need to first register interest here be you a nominee, sponsor or member of the public.

Nominees have been asking do they get free tickets and the answer is no. Sponsors are contributing enough to this event (and don’t forget to express thanks to them) so we expect nominees and everyone else going to contribute too. If you don’t want to pay to come along and if you win, we will happily hold on to the trophy for you to collect at a convenient time.

09 Realex Irish Web Awards – Raw nominations list

Monday, September 7th, 2009

Apart from one or two exceptions we have not removed any sites from any of the nomination lists even if they are obviously not right for some of the categories they’re in. This is what the public decided and how they nominated. In round 2 of judging sites that do not fit the category they were nominated in will find themselves removed.

An Suíomh Gaeilge is Fear, Best Practice, Best Irish Facebook App and Social Media Campaign will be listed in the next few days.

Here are the nominated sites, congrats if you were nominated. Why not thank the sponsors for their help up to now and maybe also congratulate those also nominated in your category.

*(If you have nominated a site and did not get a confirmation email, please check your spam filters for emails from awards.ie)
