Phew. Now to sort them out. I may be moving hosting providers in the next day or two so hold on! Pity there’s no easy export function with WordPress.

hmm… I’d certainly be curious to hear how easy/difficult it turns out and what issues you faced and what articles came in handy!
Good luck with it!
You may well find an export plugin.
If not you can make a droptable of the MySQL and import it onto the new site.
I’ve just done the same transfer thing – well, not really, I moved from TypePad to WordPress, but I tested it all out first on my own computer, and then used the backup tool (listed in the WP codex) to shift the WordPress version it to the new server.
My new host uses an old version of MySQL, so I had to edit a few lines of the backup file, but it was all otherwise straightforward. Hopefully my CSS file works in IE6 and Opera – still doing a little testing…
I guess in this case, being late is not better than nothing, sorry I missed the cut off point, would have been interesting.
Respectfully,
Dr Saxe
