		<description>I&#039;ve just done the same transfer thing - well, not really, I moved from TypePad to WordPress, but I tested it all out first on my own computer, and then used the backup tool (listed in the WP codex) to shift the WordPress version it to the new server.

My new host uses an old version of MySQL, so I had to edit a few lines of the backup file, but it was all otherwise straightforward. Hopefully my CSS file works in IE6 and Opera - still doing a little testing...</description>
