Grab a kebab before the 2007 Blog Awards

Tom Raftery is wondering if people want to meet up for some food before the Blog Awards on Saturday. If anyone else is planning on meeting in a pub beforehand too, let me know and I’ll put it up on this blog.

Here’s a map with the Alexander on it.

Alexander Hotel

There will be Wifi available at the hotel but they charge on an hourly or 24hr basis for it.

bah.. course they do. They charge extra for parking, extra for breakfast, extra for wifi. I wonder if the beds come with sheets on them? Perhaps they’re another optional extra!

wonder could someone bring along a wi-fi router and spread one connection for several users???

I can only imagine it’s one IP at a time per account. Sharing is caring, unless you’re a pay-as-you-go wifi operator 🙁

Hang on is not about having a bit of a piss up, and you guys are worried about Wi-Fi, jesus you would think this was some sort of internet fandangald thing or something. Im bringing my camera which thankfully does not need wi-fi although some sort of GPS global system thing would be nice, Damien can you see if that can happen please rather then wi-fi. 😀

Not worried about it, just bitching and moaning (as per usual) that it costs real money.

  8. Redmum promised me a kebab last year so I’m sitting in the Gingerman from 4PM waiting for the same.
