Righto, for those that can’t make the Blog Awards and for those that won’t be watching it via other means, you can probably stay tuned via the web or text messages thanks to the Twitter accounts of various people. So what’s Twitter? It’s just a way of sending text messages to a webpage but people can also subscribe to the messages via text message. No I don’t really get it either but it’s a fun bit of silliness. I think of it as broadcast SMS or broadcast IM. Not directed at anyone in particular and too trivial to blog.

Am I hugely mistaken or would this get very expensive very fast if you were going to be texting this service from your mobile? Either that or there’s gonna be a whole lot of laptops at the awards…
