Thanks to all those that voted. All votes after the 1700 timestamp will not be counted. We hope to get the shortlist announced in the morning, once we check that all votes are valid. You may get an email from us saying hello too, just to see is anyone home. Vista winners will be announced once we email them and see who they are.

Some people im sure Damien have used work email to vote so they wont be able to reply to any mails until monday?

  2. Damien says:

It is more made up emails John. If they don’t exist they’ll bounce.

  3. JC Skinner says:

Congrats to all who made the long list, and early congrats to anyone who makes the shortlist.
May the best blogs win, and hopefully the exposure the awards offer to Irish blogging in general will only result in increased traffic and exposure for all.
One little query though – do the organisers wish to cast any light on this year’s judging system, given Sarah Carey’s recent illumination on the process from last year?

  4. Damien says:

    Yeah one comment. Stay tuned.

  5. Dan Sullivan says:

All the best to everyone involved. Didn’t want to say anything earlier in case it looked too much like I was brownnosing.

  6. David Kelly says:

Best of luck to all, well done to the organisers so far:)

  7. John says:

Just to reiterate what others have said previously best of luck to everyone and fair p[lay Damien and Jason trawling through the votes.

  8. Krishna De says:

Damien – thank you to you and Jason for all that you have done to make the IBA possible.

It’s been a great week being able to explore new blogs and the breadth of content.

    Sounds intriguing…

I meant to write a post along the lines of reasons why readers should vote for 4Basra, but I never really got time.

    May the best blogs win!

  10. Hangar Queen says:

Fair dues to you lads for putting this all together.

Well done to everyone on the list and best of luck as it moves forward.

I’m well chuffed here I tell ya!

  11. Grandad says:

Hats off to Damien and Jason. We raise a glass [or two] to you.

I have visions of you up all night frantically pasting together spreadsheets and counting votes while the rest of us sleep.

If nothing else, you’ve given me the incentive to carry on blogging. [but is that a good thing?]
